CyberVault Connect Chapter 2
Hackers Warfare – A Power-Packed Cybersecurity Experience

CyberVault Connect Chapter 2: “Hackers Warfare”

On 22nd March 2025, the MIT-WPU Campus in Pune pulsed with innovation and adrenaline as CyberVault Connect, powered by CyberVault, unleashed its second electrifying chapter — “Hackers Warfare.” From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the event brought together the sharpest minds in cybersecurity for a dynamic day of learning, collaboration, and competitive hacking.

Under the banner of community knowledge-sharing, participants dove into two immersive, hands-on workshops and faced off in a high-stakes Capture the Flag (CTF) competition. With cyber professionals and aspiring hackers working side by side, the atmosphere was charged with passion, skill, and a shared drive to push boundaries.

Fueled by a spirit of curiosity and collaboration, Chapter 2 wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of cybersecurity excellence, and a bold step forward for the community.

🔧 Workshop 1: Red Teaming – Offensive Security in Action

The event kicked off with a deep-dive session on Red Teaming, where participants got hands-on experience simulating real-world cyber attacks. This wasn’t just theory — students actively engaged in practical scenarios that covered reconnaissance, exploitation, lateral movement, and more. The interactive format encouraged participants to collaborate, ask sharp questions, and test their own problem-solving skills against complex attack simulations. The room buzzed with energy as future red-teamers explored how attackers think — and how defenders can stay one step ahead.

🐞 Workshop 2: Bug Bounty – Hacking with a Purpose

Next up was the Bug Bounty workshop — an eye-opening session focused on ethical hacking and vulnerability disclosure. Participants were guided through methodologies used by top bug bounty hunters, from reconnaissance to reporting. Real-world case studies and live demos made this session especially engaging. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the actionable insights, live walkthroughs, and encouragement to explore legal hacking as a career path. For many, this workshop was a stepping stone toward their first bug bounty submission.

🏁 Capture the Flag (CTF) – A War of Wits

The event reached its climax with a thrilling Capture the Flag competition, where teams battled it out in a series of hacking challenges. From cryptography puzzles to web exploits, the CTF tested every skill taught during the day. Congratulations to Team Cyber Minds, who cracked their way to victory and took home the lion’s share of the ₹50,000 prize pool. Their teamwork, technical precision, and strategic thinking made them deserving champions.
